CAN I CANCEL MY BOOKING?
No, but as long as you have purshased our rebooking guarantee you can reschuedule you booking.

CAN I RESCHEDULE MY PADDLING FOR ANOTHER DAY OR TIME?
You may change your booking up to six hours before start if you have purshased the rebooking guarantee. You can find a link in the booking confirmation email with more info on how to reschuedule.

IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE?
In two-seater kayaks, younger children are allowed, as long as they are accompanied by an adult. The minimum age for paddling in a single-seat kayak is 12 years if accompanied by an adult, and 16 years without an adult present, with the permission of a guardian.

DO I NEED TO BE ABLE TO SWIM TO RENT A KAYAK/SUP?
YES.

CAN I RENT A KAYAK/SUP IF I HAVE NEVER TRIED IT BEFORE?
Sure. We can provide you a routine briefing at the jetty to explain the things that are good to keep in mind, and can help you in and out of the kayak. We have also written a helpful blog post (in Swedish) about what it’s like to go kayak paddling as a beginner.

WHAT IS A FAMILY KAYAK?
A family kayak is a triple-seater kayak which seats two adults and one child, or two children and one adult. It can also be used as a regular two-seater, but it is difficult to fit three adults in it.

WHAT IS A DOUBLE KAYAK?
It’s a kayak with two seats, so that you and a friend can share a kayak and paddle together.

WHAT IS A SINGLE KAYAK?
It’s a kayak designed for one person.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?
Dry clothes to change into, which you may leave with us. Water bottle, swimsuit, and anything that you might want to eat during your paddle, unless you pre-order our “fika” pack. (See info in the booking.) Valuables may be left with us; if you prefer to bring them along, we recommend renting a dry bag.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO PADDLE A KAYAK?
Wear clothes suitable for the weather conditions and the wind, as well as a dry change of clothes in case you get wet. It may be helpful to think of it as if you’re dressing for a brisk walk or a light jog.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I FALL INTO THE WATER?
People actually fairly rarely fall in, and we will provide you with a life jacket on the jetty. In the unlikely event that you’ll topple over, you’re not attached in any way to the kayak, and on the tours we recommend, you are never far from the shore.

DO YOU SELL WATER TO DRINK?
As we do not belive in single use plastic bottles we have our own engraved steel bottles filled with cold water that you can rent for a cost of 20 SEK.

WILL MY STUFF GET WET?
Probably – that is a risk. If you want to be sure your stuff is safe, we recommend packing things into a bag or renting a dry bag from us to ensure that things stay dry.
